No persigo el foco. Construyo lo que hace que se vea fácil. Cada armonía que no puedes señalar pero que echarías de menos al segundo de faltar — eso es lo mío. Donde esté la música, ahí trabajo: en el cuarto o a distancia.I don't chase the spotlight. I build what makes it look easy. Every harmony you can't point to but would miss the second it's gone — that's my lane. Wherever the music is, that's where I work: in the room or remote.

Soy cantante, director vocal y arreglista de coros. Fui miembro fundador, arreglista vocal y director musical de NOTA, el sexteto que ganó The Sing-Off de NBC y firmó con Sony/Epic; con NOTA arreglé una versión a cappella de “Tracks of My Tears” que interpretamos en televisión en vivo junto al legendario Smokey Robinson y “This Christmas” con Shawn Stockman de Boyz II Men para el especial navideño de NBC. Antes fundé Alpha Voices —campeón regional del Harmony Sweepstakes en Los Ángeles y acto de apertura para All-4-One en Bosque Mágico, Puerto Rico— y canté con Pura Voz; en 2013 volví a The Sing-Off ensamblando a Calle Sol, grupo del que dos de sus cantantes llegaron a Pitch Perfect 2.I'm a singer, vocal director and background-vocal arranger. I was a founding member, vocal arranger and music director of NOTA, the sextet that won NBC's The Sing-Off and signed with Sony/Epic; with NOTA I arranged an a cappella version of “Tracks of My Tears” performed on live television alongside the legendary Smokey Robinson and “This Christmas” with Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men for the NBC Christmas Special. Before that I founded Alpha Voices — Harmony Sweepstakes regional champion in Los Angeles and opening act for All-4-One at Bosque Mágico, Puerto Rico — and sang with Pura Voz; in 2013 I returned to The Sing-Off putting together Calle Sol, two of whose singers went on to appear in Pitch Perfect 2.

Mis primeros años fueron en el folclor puertorriqueño, con la Rondalla Nuevas Raíces de la Escuela Libre de Música de Caguas. De ahí vino el cruce de lo cristiano a lo secular: coros en vivo con First Call en Puerto Rico, mi primera aparición en televisión con Silverio Pérez; luego, con el productor Francisco Zamora, primero con Alpha y después con el grupo de voces Regalo de Tradición (especial de Telemundo), y Jaci Velásquez en el Centro de Bellas Artes cantando “Llegar a Ti”. Ahí también empezó Wilkins: mi primera vez con él fue en Bellas Artes, en una temporada de siete funciones, con el medley de rock & roll; años después vendría Standing Ovation, grabado en vivo en Bellas Artes.My first years were in Puerto Rican folk music, with Rondalla Nuevas Raíces at the Escuela Libre de Música de Caguas. From there came the crossover from Christian music into the secular world: live backgrounds with First Call in Puerto Rico, my first television appearance with Silverio Pérez; then, with producer Francisco Zamora, first with Alpha and later with the vocal group Regalo de Tradición (Telemundo special), and Jaci Velásquez at the Centro de Bellas Artes singing “Llegar a Ti.” That is where Wilkins started too: my first time with him was at Bellas Artes, across a seven-show season, on the rock & roll medley; years later came Standing Ovation, recorded live at Bellas Artes.

Con Quique Domenech y Mayda Belén soy miembro de Sonido Tré: escenario con Carlos Vives, Noel Schajris, Milly Quezada y Margarita “La Diosa de la Cumbia”, especiales de PBS con Fernando Varela, el Hitman Tour de David Foster —donde canté y toqué su piano en su tarima— y “Verde Luz” con la Budapest Scoring Orchestra. Escribí los arreglos vocales de Listen to the Music, producido por Boh Cooper —antes director musical de Peter Cetera, hoy de David Foster. Desde 2023 canto con el Cuarteto Los Hispanos de Puerto Rico.With Quique Domenech and Mayda Belén I'm a member of Sonido Tré: stages with Carlos Vives, Noel Schajris, Milly Quezada and Margarita “La Diosa de la Cumbia,” PBS specials with Fernando Varela, David Foster's Hitman Tour — where I sang and played his piano on his stage — and “Verde Luz” with the Budapest Scoring Orchestra. I wrote the vocal arrangements for Listen to the Music, produced by Boh Cooper — formerly Peter Cetera's musical director, today David Foster's. Since 2023 I sing with Cuarteto Los Hispanos de Puerto Rico.

Como director vocal, hoy trabajo con Jerry Rivera en vivo y en estudio junto al productor Isidro Infante (“Es Una Locura”, “Salsa Es Destino Y Rumbo”), y fui director vocal y de coros de Wilkins en el Coca-Cola Music Hall y el Coliseo de Puerto Rico con el director Omar Cruz Cabrera. He cantado coros en vivo para Luis Fonsi, Carlos Vives y, recientemente, Elena Rose en el Coca-Cola Music Hall de Puerto Rico. En el jazz he grabado coros para Negroni's Trio, y hago coros y ensamble vocal para los conciertos tributo de la Orquesta Filarmónica Arturo Somohano —Jala Jala, Azúcar y Hillsong— Aparte, sin orquesta de por medio, canto y dirijo las voces de la banda tributo Bee Gees Experience. Del folclor puertorriqueño al rock, de la salsa al pop, del bolero con Los Hispanos a los tributos sinfónicos y la música cristiana contemporánea: la versatilidad es el oficio.As a vocal director I currently work with Jerry Rivera both live and in the studio with producer Isidro Infante (“Es Una Locura,” “Salsa Es Destino Y Rumbo”), and served as vocal and BGV director for Wilkins at the Coca-Cola Music Hall and the Coliseo de Puerto Rico with director Omar Cruz Cabrera. I have sung live backgrounds for Luis Fonsi, Carlos Vives and, most recently, Elena Rose at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in Puerto Rico. In jazz I have recorded background vocals for Negroni's Trio, and I sing BGVs and build the vocal ensemble for the Orquesta Filarmónica Arturo Somohano tribute concerts — Jala Jala, Azúcar and Hillsong — Separately, with no orchestra involved, I sing and direct the voices of the Bee Gees Experience tribute band. From Puerto Rican folk to rock, from salsa to pop, from bolero with Los Hispanos to symphonic tributes and contemporary Christian music: versatility is the craft.
